World Environment Day at Click and Grow: Green living Tips And Pics Roundup

In our recent World Environment Day social media challenge, we asked members of our community to share pics of their smart gardens and plants, along with their tips for more sustainable and green living. The responses were heartwarming and we’d like to share some of them with you here!

We use our Click & Grows to keep our tortoise family in fresh greens and flowers all year long. Much healthier for them than store-bought lettuce or processed pellets!

I have never been a green thumb, all my plants have preferred to die.

It was a long and cold winter and the spring did not want to come even though the calendar said it should. Something clicked and the next day i was browsing the marketplace for 3-pod preloved click and grow. Day later i had a wild strawberry, parsley and thyme waiting to start growing.

Month later my sis came to visit and got infected with the same bug and left with my click and grow to start her own small garden. That was just the perfect excuse for me to upgrade from 3 to 9. Now the initial 3 are repotted and thriving in the balcony along with more strawberries, basil and tomato plants. Guess it just escalates once it starts.

These petunias in my office! The fact that I have these gardens already reduce my environmental impact by saving water, and no harmful pesticides.

Effective tip for your Click & Grow is to grow your own veggies and herbs! I’ve made pesto from basil pods in the past and they are delicious! Very fun to do and feels so satisfying making it yourself!

I've re planted a wild strawberry, a basil and a peppermint plant and have two yellow mini tomatoes and another wild strawberry in my C&G.

Got multiple seedlings in my tomato pods, and now I got extra tomato plants growing!

After a vacation on the island of Capri, I couldn't resist taking seeds from a freshly plucked lemon from the tree. Just 15 days later, I was already enjoying wonderful growth. It has now been transferred to a larger pot and is growing beautifully.

Growing leafy greens indoors. Green tip from my side: eating plant-based to minimize climate-heating emissions, water pollution and land use for food 💚

Asian Greens Mix 9 pack. This is their third lot of growth!
